Maury Place Innkeepers Visit New York City

Mac & I are in New York for a couple of days to see the revival productions of West Side Story (my favorite musical!) at the Palace Theatre on Broadway and South Pacific at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center. Mac's Mom saw Judy Garland at the Palace Theatre many years ago, so it will be fun to see what that theatre is like. We have never been there before. We are staying at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. It is a property I have always wanted to visit, and of course, I gotta check out what other luxury properties are doing! I have learned so far that we are doing a lot that is right!

We just enjoyed cocktails and dinner at the restaurant at the Hudson Hotel. It was a great evening! They have exceptional seating within view of the chefs, who prepare the food in the middle of the room. The outdoor bar space was also fantastic. The food was exceptional, including an amaretto creme brulee!

While we are in New York, Chico and Lucy (the inn dogs) are enjoying a luxury experience at the Holiday Barn in Richmond, "the Pet Resort". Holiday Barn features daily walks and play time... they even have a pool! We miss the doggies, for sure, but I doubt they miss us with all the attention they are getting at Holiday Barn!
