We Are Thankful and Grateful for Guest Comments and Reviews

We are very thankful for guests who give us their reviews, thoughts, and comments after their stay at Maury Place.  We place our own comment cards and comment cards provided by the Bed and Breakfast Association of Virginia in each guest room so that guests may provide us insights into their stay with us and let us know how we might improve the Maury Place experience.  The commentary may be anonymous or not.  Based on guest comments, we have added lighted make-up mirrors to all of our bathrooms and provided two mini reading lights in every room. We are also grateful to the many guests who have posted  reviews of Maury Place on http://www.tripadvisor.com/ and http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/.  Occasionally, we also receive notes or e-mails from guests letting us know how much they enjoyed Maury Place.  Here is one recent note from a guest who visited Richmond from California to see the historic sites here.  She and her husband stayed with us in Addie's Suite for a week: 

Thank you an incredibly wonderful experience at your beautiful home. It has been years since we’ve stayed at a Bed and Breakfast, and yours was the best we had ever experienced. The house was like stepping back into history, the breakfasts were delicious, and the attention to detail was truly amazing.

We appreciated the advice on sights to see, the restaurant suggestions and the good maps and directions as we planned each day. Spending each morning discussing Richmond’s rich history was informative and helped bring context to the many houses, battlefields and museums we visited. Your suggestion for a tour guide was excellent as well, walking the battlefields with him made the silent forests literally “come alive”.

I am so glad we have our “Maury Place” wine glasses so that we can toast your success each time we use them. There is so much to see in Virginia, we will be back.
