One of the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden's great Summer events, Flowers After Five, is a weekly offering from June 2 through August 18, 2011 featuring wine tasting, music, and - of course - flowers! This year Flowers After Five features wine tastings, specialty beers, and great local fare chosen by in-house caterer Meriwether Godsey. Guests can also view the special exhibit "Diamonds in the Rough" stick sculpture by Patrick Dougherty, which which displayed adjacent to the Rose Garden. In addition, the Tea House, which is normally open daily for lunch, serves dinner during Flowers After Five, with its large windows offering panoramic views of the lake and garden as you enjoy your meal.
