"The Lion King" Arrives in Richmond!

The Broadway hit show "The Lion King" arrives in Richmond on February 15 to run through March 11 at Richmond's historic Landmark Theater.  The musical was composed by Elton John and Tim Rice and won six Tony Awards.  More than sixty million people in fourteen countries have seen the show.

From the fantastic opening number, "Circle of Life," through the show's climactic ending, audiences worldwide have been captivated by the amazing puppetry and stagecraft that brings animals of the African sahara to life.  The show is based on the 1994 hit Disney movie and features the same wonderful musical score.
