Carytown Food and Wine

A growing tradition here in Richmond, the Carytown Food and Wine Festival is celebrating its ninth year in providing the "Mile of Style" as its come to be known. This Sunday, October 7th, join local Richmonders in sampling some of the areas best food from the traditional to the exotic. Restaurants participating this year are as follows: Weezie's Kitchen provides some wonderful comfort food with an expansive menu, Mezzanine 3433 specializes in entrees, Nacho Mama's offers their take on Mexican cuisine, Carytown Burgers and Fries gives us just that, Ginger Thai Taste has some sweet and spicy Asian cuisine, or visit Amour for the bistro setting. Along with these magnificent restaurants, nearly a dozen vineyards will be providing their delectable wines for tasting and purchase. Tickets are $15, 20 at the gate and the event is from 12pm-6pm.
